About Me

The daughter of an accomplished Jazz trumpet player father and a rad marathon-running mother, I grew up with two big brothers in a row house in Jersey City. We had lots of pets, among them an electric eel name Hermie, and several cats and dogs. I spent my summers building a cabin on our small plot of woodland in northern New Jersey, without any plumbing or electricity. Things that are important to me are my always supportive family and friends, delicious meals, plenty of time to pause in the open air, and changing the world one gesture at a time.
